Meet The Yearbook Editors!

On our first day of yearbook we interviewed each other to get to know other campers in the group and to practice what good questions would be to ask in an interview. The following pieces were written by Dinah, Remy, Jooyoung, Kayley, Ivori, and Coco. 

Jooyoung

 13 year old Jooyoung from South Korea, likes art, science and, drama class. Also enjoys cloudy days because they are not too hot and not to muggy, plus she enjoys rom coms because they lift her up when she is down and out. She likes to improve on things when possible, and her idol is her head teacher at her school because of her wise nature and interesting experiences.

Ivori

              Ivori is a twelve year old girl from Philadelphia who has three brothers. Her most exciting day was her twelfth birthday, and her scariest day was the friday before this one. Her hobbies include softball and writing.

Dinah

             Dinah is a 12 year old girl from Brooklyn who loves literature. She likes watching movies and learning history. Her favorite song is Mr. Brightside and her favorite movie is Ferris Bueller’s Day off. However, she doesn’t like things that bores or frustrates her. Dinah describes herself as: average, geeky, and bossy –she says this is what she knows and thinks about herself. She has a lot of interesting experiences such as being locked out of her house after a block party when she was completely wet but she didn’t have a key with her.

Coco

         Young editor Coco is one of the many interesting campers at Blue Tree who is part of the yearbook. Coco has had wild thoughts about her life accomplishments since the fifth grade when she dreamt of becoming an “Artistic rock climbing spy who put an end to global warming.” To her current dream of working with something that has to do with arts, history, or psychology.  Coco is an only child but claims that if she could have a sibling she would choose to have a twin brother because he would be someone she could talk to that would be able to understand her. Her role model since she was a young girl has been her cousin Duncan, “He is a really smart, funny, and nice.” He is the perfect child. As a role model for her future career she looks up to Tina Fey because she is a successful actress who is very confident.

Remy

            Remy is a 12 year old girl from Delaware. Remy has not experienced yearbook before. She plans to take pictures while she is in yearbook. Remy joined yearbook because she thought it would be fun to take pictures. When Remy gets older she plans to be a fashion designer

Kayley

Kayley used to be an obnoxious child, but now has become popular and suave. She lives in Villanova and appreciates its scenic-ness and niceness. She is excited for freshman year, and aspires to go to an ivy-league school and become a psychologist.
